I started reading this article, but once it had become framed as an argument between scientists and Fundamentalists I found it was no longer necessary to read any more of the article.
In the battle between science and fiction, I'll consistently choose science unless I have chosen to read science fiction, a perfectly legitimate form of entertainment.
