Some say God is living there [in space]. I was looking around very attentively, but I did not see anyone there. I did not detect either angels or gods....I don't believe in God. I believe in man - his strength, his possibilities, his reason.

Christianity: Safer than a lobotomy, but just as effective.

One of the Christian Arguments claims that America was founded as a Christian nation.

Things are a bit different here in Australia. I fact one of our Prime Ministers (Bob Hawke) declared himself to be an agnostic and still managed to retain a 72% approval rating - and went on to win another three elections.

Sadly, our current Prime Minister (Kevin Rudd) is an Anglican Christian with a tendency towards Creationism and many in his cabinet have similar beliefs, so I guess it won't be long before "secular" Australia becomes as "christianised" as America.
